The most common question we get is: "When is the best time for Tulip photos?"


Typically, the bloom happens between late March and late April, but the timing changes every year depending on Vancouver’s rain and temperature. Early-season varieties usually pop up first with bright, crisp colors, followed by the mid-to-late season tulips that feature larger, double-petaled blooms.


Pro Tip:

Don't wait for the weekend. If you see the fields hitting peak bloom and the sun is out, that is your sign to go! Once the heavy Vancouver rain hits, those delicate petals can be damaged or weighed down overnight. Catch them while the sky is clear!
